Scope
- Construct 11km new gravity intake
- Construct 11.5km new raw water gravity main DN500
- Construct a horizontal treatment plant of capacity 6,000m3/day, complete with associated works.
- Rehabilitate existing water treatment units with their associated works to take them to their combined capacity of 2,150m3/day.
- Rehabilitate existing staff houses.
- Rehabilitate existing 100m3 masonry backwash tank.
- Rehabilitate 24.5km treated water gravity main to Malaba through Kimaeti, Kocholia and Amagoro (diameter ranging from 350-250mm).
- Rehabilitate 10km treated water gravity main to Angurai DN250-100mm UPVC and GI.
- New distribution pipelines of DN150-75mm in steel and UPVC length approximately 20km to serve Myanga, Kokare, Kamuriai/Jairos, Angurai, Chamasir, Netima, Malakisi, Amoni and Ndakaru.
- Rehabilitate storage tanks at Koteko Hills, Kocholia, Kokare, Angurai, Mwari Hills and Akoreti Hills.
- Construct new storage tank at Kimaeti (225m3).
- Construct communal water points (water kiosks) – 7 no.
- Rehabilitate Kakoli Spring intake.

MALABA SANITATION PROJECT LOT 2

Scope
- 16km long main trunk sewer lines (200-600mm diameter HDPE pipes)
- 2km long smaller tributary sewer lines (200mm diameter HDPE pipes)
- Treatment works (preliminary treatment system, 3 anaerobic ponds, 3 facultative ponds and 6 maturation ponds)
- 4 ablution blocks
- Office block and staff houses
DTF PROJECT

Scope
The DTF (decentralized treatment facility) comprises of six modules: receiving bay/balancing tank, sludge drying bed, anaerobic reactor, wetlands, solid waste incinerator and operator’s office.
